Job Description

The objective of the role: We are looking for a reliable financial manager that will effectively manage the accounting, management, and financial records by implementing, outlining areas for improvements, advising management on key issues on possible cost savings, and ensuring that appropriate internal controls are working to safeguard the company's assets. List of responsibilities: ● Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. ● Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take ● Maintain the financial health of the organization. ● Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. ● Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances. ● Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. ● Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met. ● Manage the preparation of the company’s budget. ● Assist in performing end to end preparation of withholding tax, value-added tax, income tax, and other tax returns and it's supporting documents/schedules in compliance with Government agencies ● Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. ● Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken. ● Report to the managing director. ● Probation period: 3 Months. ● Working hours: Saturday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:30.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management. ● Fluent in financial analysis, payroll, tax, VAT, and industrial accounting. ● Teamwork spirit. ● Management and communications skills.
