NRC will only consider applications that come through Webcruiter.******* Role and responsibilities: The purpose of the officer position is the day-to-day implementation of the support functions responsibilities. Use actions words such as ensure, implement or assist for the position relevant responsibilities. Generic responsibilities: ● Implement NRC’s systems and procedures at the area level. ● Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements. ● Prepare and submit reports and analyses. ● Ensure proper filing of all support documents. ● Support line managers in procedures and require support team training. ● Ensure that the accounting, monitoring, and reporting are according to procedures. ● Support project staff in financial matters. ● Maintain budget control and monitor cash flow for the area. ● Promote the rights of refugees in line with the advocacy strategy. ● Ensure that key learnings are extracted from operations regarding protection. Duties and responsibilities: ● Lead the daily financial verification, payment preparations, and accounting at the country level. ● Contribute to the development and implementation of internal control procedures at the country level. ● Responsible for AP /GL/ banks/payments/ payroll accounting. ● Ensure proper cash flow reporting and cash planning. ● Prepare monthly reporting: P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations, provisions, depreciation. ● Lead the monthly closure preparation and monthly balance sheet account reconciliation process. ● Act as CASH focal point and lead the finance responsibilities towards the CASH program. ● Support finance manager in leading the auditing (Internal and external) process in NRC Iran.

Requirements

● At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting. ● Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. ● Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities. ● Good knowledge of written and spoken English; Fluent in written and spoken Farsi. ● Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. ● Fluent in banking procedures in Iran.
