Job Description

Digikala/DigiStyle fashion catalog supervisor is accountable for leading the Fashion Catalogue team. He/she is responsible for all on-site product content creation and spearheads all site content initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the fashion product lifecycle from product photography to product categorization/activation to the on-site content-based shopping experience. This role also drives site optimization within the existing product information and internal content management systems and will be supported by other textual and visual content teams and product teams. The ideal candidate will guide and direct fashion content strategy on both DK and DS. He/she will work closely with staff to ensure content is distributed correctly across the sites. The expectation is that the Fashion Content Supervisor works with other supervisors and managers to empower staff to be their bests. ● Manage the fashion content and product “go-live” schedule to ensure that products are activated in a timely manner. ● Oversee the product activation process, which includes ensuring products are strategically categorized for maximized selling exposure and accurately filtered. ● Effectively communicate agreed content creation strategy to the edit, photography, and creative studio teams. ● Stay aligned and cooperate with all the other departments (esp. commercial, product, and marketing) of the business considering the goals and key results. ● Develop fashion content strategy that aligns with marketing, commercial and content targets long term and short term. ● Ensure the quality of fashion product pages on both websites. ● Stay abreast of current best practices in the fashion industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of DK/DS. ● Take part in required meetings in order to be aligned with the DK group's big picture. ● Work closely with content department managers to ensure that daily online content and communications are delivered efficiently and effectively to clients. ● Ensure all client standards are followed on websites.

Requirements

● Over three years of experience in digital retail, specifically content management. ● Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. ● At least 3 years of management experience preferred. ● Deep understanding of the trends, needs, innovations, and pace of the fashion e-commerce industry. ● Experience working with product information and content management systems. ● Experience in project management. ● Excellent verbal communication skills and any soft skill to empower, motivate and manage the staff. ● Proven track record for getting results on initiatives. ● Keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously; sometimes under pressure and often tight deadlines. ● Ability to establish strong relationships across departments and an understanding of client needs, the consumer experience, content strategy, and operational capabilities. ● Ability to work independently and be able to manage multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines. ● A creative thinker who embraces and drives change. ● A strong relationship builder and influencer who is comfortable working with leaders at all levels. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ● Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and passion for continuous improvement. ● Excellent organizational skills, intuitive, and highly solution-oriented.
