Job Description

The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) will have strong entrepreneurial experience(s) as a founder or very early employee in a startup or other new venture/organization. The EIR will work directly and indirectly with CEOs and the Executive Team, and staff members to ensure strategies of accommodations vertical is in line with business objectives. The EIR will serve as a liaison to commercial, tech, product, marketing, and CS teams and meet with them regularly and act as of entrepreneur with all the functions working with the vertical. Technical responsibilities: ● Manage OKR/KPIs and P&L process and targets. ● Develop and maintain strategies and operations to generate growth for Snapptrip while maintaining profitability. ● Work in partnership across supply and demand networks to ensure that sales targets are hit and to define action plans to rectify issues. ● Help their vertical to stay focused on their milestones, bring hands-on experience in building and growing and bring them solutions to unlock strategic questions along their operations. ● Explore business ideas and take initiatives for enhancing market share and sales. ● Define, revise and challenge all processes in the entire vertical to maximize efficiency. ● Work closely with all departments to improve accommodation products in line with company targets. Management/leadership responsibilities: ● Critical characteristics include accepting responsibility for the entire scope of work of the business vertical. ● Work with ambiguity while being a leader. ● Prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. ● Make decisions in critical situations and help the team work under pressure. ● Inspire shared vision and lead the business vertical to accomplish company objectives.

Requirements

● Experience in entrepreneurship, such as company formation and growth, investment, etc. ● Ability to travel as needed for business development, approximately 2 to 3 times per quarter or as appropriate. ● Experience or interest in training, coaching, or mentoring.
