Job Description

The engineering department manager is responsible for the overall performance of the engineering department and leading the team, as well as managing team leaders of a team of engineers and technicians responsible for facility, utility, and IT systems. ● Ensure EHS and GMP compliance. ● Responsible for calibration system, production/administration networks, maintenance management, FMCS, and projects. ● Responsible for the site’s project portfolio, and managing the department and project budgets. ● Responsible for communication to and from industrial towns and external authorities, in relation to building utilities. ● Responsible for hiring, training the team, and allocating different tasks to the team. ● Directing staff and overseeing the operation to ensure that the organization will perform this role properly and efficiently.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or CSA Engineering. ● More than three years of managerial experience including being part of the site leadership team, preferably in an international environment (energy, electronics, pharma, food, or cosmetics). ● GMP experience is nice to have. ● Good understanding of SPS tools. ● Well-organized, agile, and strong communicator. ● Demonstrate proactive stakeholder management at all levels. ● Ability to perform under pressure. ● Advanced level of English, both written and spoken. About the department: The engineering department is consisting of 3 sub-department including Facility and Utility, the project office, and a team of more than 20 employees responsible for all tasks related to utility, facility, HVAC, FMS/ BMS, and IT systems.
