Job Description

● Study and master the relevant international codes, standards, and other references applicable to Oil and Gas projects including IEC, ISA, SIL, ASME, NEMA, ATEX. ● Prepare typical documents of the Electrical discipline for Oil and Gas projects including Electric Motor datasheets and Outline Drawings, Electric Load List, Local Control Panel Wiring Diagram and Layout Drawing, Local Control Station Wiring Diagram, and Layout Drawing, Cable Schedule, Spare Parts List, … ● Prepare typical documents of the I&C discipline for Oil and Gas projects including Instrument Junction Box datasheets and Outline Drawings, I/O List, Alarm and Setpoint List, Logic Diagrams, Hook-up Drawings, Spare Parts List, … ● Select and size suitable instruments model/type for each application/process ● Participate in internal P&ID review meetings and ensure the correctness, applicability, and completeness of project P&IDs in terms of instruments, signals, and interlocks. ● Prepare relevant sections in technical proposals as per clients’ material requisitions ● Check the compliance of the offered/purchased electrical items to the directives issued by ATEX and IEC for use in hazardous areas. ● Design and implement the arrangement and wiring of panels, in particular, LCP/LCS and JB. ● Oversee and control proper execution of cabling, cable trays routing, earthing within the skid boundaries of chemical injection packages as well as instruments tubing, hook-up, and installation. ● Contribute to the procurement of electrical and instrumentation products by producing MTO lists and checking the quotations against the customers’ specifications and referenced standards. ● Work closely with other technical disciplines to coordinate operations and activities. ● Reporting to: Engineering Manager. ● Number required: 1 person. ● Duration: 1-year contract. ● Desired start date: As soon as possible. ● Probation period: 3 Months. ● Working hours: Sat-Wed: 8:00 – 17:30. ● Working office: Payam special economic complex, Mehrshahr, Karaj, Iran. ● Travel requirements: Occasional.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable state university. ● Minimum 3 years of related experience. ● Familiar with gauges, switches, and transmitters sensing pressure, flow, level and temperature utilized in Oil and Gas industries. ● Familiar with AutoCAD, EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical. ● Good communication and interpersonal skills. ● Self-driven and detail-oriented. ● Responsible and well-organized. ● Sufficient knowledge of practical software such as MS Office. ● Excellent ability in web searching. ● Good report writing skills. ● Excellent teamwork skills. ● Nationality preference: Iranian. ● Language skills: English. ● Current residence: Karaj.
