Job Description

Taking reasonable care of employees’ health and their safety by the implementation of occupational health and safety plans and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations (Local and global). Also supporting the team in case of safety and environmental matters. Occupational disease and workplace harmful factors control: ● Understand employees' occupational health and safety aspects, workplace safety, and taking preventive actions and control measures in order to keep workplace safety and employees' health. EHS KPIs monitoring: ● Monitoring job-related incidents, VAF rate, and incident FR and controlling them based on ASP. Compliance: ● Good knowledge of local rules (MOH) and their conformity with the in-place conditions and sending monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to MOH. Empowering people: ● Holding general health and safety training (For new joiners and annual refreshment) and campaigns based on the EHS calendar. Risk management: ● Mitigating health and safety risks of workplaces (HQ, M&S offices and warehouses, vehicles) based on the hierarchy of risk control pyramid. ● Health and safety risk assessment and taking preventive action in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.

Requirements

Education: ● Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health. Work experience and competencies: ● Good knowledge of occupational health and safety rules and requirements, medical check-up, harmful factors assessment, risk management and occupational diseases legal processes, and basic knowledge of IMS. ● Accuracy and attention to detail. ● Well-developed time management skills. Languages and Computer Skill: ● Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ● Ability to learn company-specific software if required. ● Full command of English written and spoken.
