Job Description

● Load and perform data validation procedures/checklist for performance data on assigned programs and data migrations. ● Execute quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights; provide analytical and data-driven decision-making support for key projects. ● Document data processing and data validation procedures for all assigned programs. ● Develop and automate reports, solving for the Business Intelligence and analytical needs of our full range of stakeholders working with function leads and other stakeholders to establish the right metrics for monitoring the business. ● Pull and model data from our data lake to create quantitative models of business trends and measure impact of online sales growth initiatives. ● Create dashboards and reports that provide analysis and commentary, explaining product, sales, and business trends for Executive reporting. ● Work closely with product and inform and update stakeholders on product performance, plans, and progress towards metrics. ● Generate and go deep on consumer insights and competitive intelligence to help teams drive product innovation and iteration. ● Work with Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, Marketing and other stakeholders to establish the right metrics for monitoring their businesses. ● Produce accurate and timely reports both online and offline. ● Communicate insights in compelling ways, creating data story telling. ● Develop automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information.

Requirements

● 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and data management. ● BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline. ● Background or previous experience in analytics and / or marketing experience a plus. ● Hands-on experience with SQL, dash-boarding and reporting, involving datasets and multiple data sources. ● Demonstrated track record of creating and building complex evaluation tools for assessing/tracking product performance and learning associated user behaviors. ● Hands-on experience in software development methodologies and working knowledge in Java and other programming languages preferable (Scala, JavaScript, Shell, Perl, Python, R, C/C++) ● Experience with analytical tools supporting data evaluation and reporting, as well as querying large, complex data sets (Tableau, PwerBI, SQL, R, etc) ● Demonstrated use of analytics, metrics, and bench-marking to drive decisions ● Hands on experience with A/B testing, statistical analysis, and/or insights. ● Highly analytical, with a track record of being a strong problem solver; capable of translating data into meaningful analysis and insights, presenting to business stakeholders, and driving value for the business. Ability to see the big picture and to focus on details when necessary. ● Proven track record of project management and organizational skills, with an ability to initiate, prioritize, and execute complex, cross-functional projects with minimal guidance across businesses and leadership levels. ● Ability to explain the experiment tracking needs that should be implemented/developed to both business and technical counterparts, and to identify, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues. ● Proactive problem solver with professional and intellectual credibility and an impact style.
