This position is under a consultancy contract.

Position Summary:

The role of the Country Security Manager will be assisting Iran Cluster Management in providing functional leadership on Security matters and coordinates the implementation of the Group/Regional Security Program in Iran. Moreover, provide staff with a secure working environment as well as safeguards their operations from external security threats and internal malpractices. He/She will work with the Regional Security Advisor (RSA) and Zone Security Manager (ZSM) to ensure the implementation of the Nestlé Group Security (NGS) strategy within Iran & Security tactical targets.

A Day In Life:

  • Responsible for implementing the Nestle Group Security Annual Objectives, Operational and Organizational Requirements Standards.
  • Responsible for implementing the Market Security program in Iran.
  • Provide reports throughout the organization considering effectiveness and recommendations for improvements. Such updates take into account the results of the company's audit activities and any recommendations.
  • Ensure that security contingency plans (e.g., local evacuation plan for expats, threats, and workplace violence) are updated, and key stakeholders are trained to focus on the Iran task force and crisis committee and conduct needed drills and revise to ensure preparedness.
  • Produce and update Site risk and threat assessments relevant to the country, so as to provide early warning of regional or local threats that may affect Nestlé’s operations in Iran.
  • Responsible for consolidating and reporting Security Incidents (i.e., fraud, theft, Workplace violence.) as well as any security-related incidents that are promptly and fully reported by the security champions and are passed on a monthly basis to the RSA and Zone security.
  • Responsible for the introduction and maintenance of security guidelines, standards, and best practices throughout the country as defined within the group security strategy. Priority will be given to the protection of Nestlé's employees, Nestlé's reputation, Nestlé's brands and products, and Nestlé's property and assets.
  • Responsible for the spread and coordination of personal security awareness in Iran (this includes training programs e.g. I learn modules, security induction, security crisis management, sales security training, personal security awareness, etc.).
  • Contribute to the reduction of the budget through security optimization programs, and encourage participation in bulk purchasing of services and equipment throughout the region by sharing available security resources in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Liaise and network with security managers in other companies, organizations, and government bodies, to ensure that Nestlé is able to draw upon the experience and knowledge of others.

Requirements

What will make you successful:

  • At least 8 to 10 years in a responsible position within a law enforcement, security/intelligence, military, and/or corporate security department.
  • Experience in UN is preferable.
  • Experience in risk management, crisis management, investigation, physical security, and assets protection.
  • Experience in an international/multinational work environment is preferable.
  • University educational degree of Police Academy or relevant fields.
  • Good understanding of quality, SHE, supply chain systems as well as HR processes.
  • Good Understanding of Sales operations and Site operations models.
  • Communication skills.
  • Stress and time management skills.
  • Abide by local laws and strictly comply with Nestlé Business Corporate Principles and Nestlé Business Code of Conduct.
  • Fluent in English.
