Job Description

● Perform all commercial affairs (both foreign and domestic) which start from receiving an inquiry from a customer, inquiry study, registration making RFQ, and cooperation with the sourcing department for choosing the proper sources. ● Study the quotation received from the sourcing department and control it with an inquiry as well as negotiate the payment and delivery terms and times of each quotation, make a price comparison table and in the end provide the most competitive offer possible for the tenders or bids, etc. ● Prepare and handle all necessary documentation from Proforma Invoice to purchase order and shipping documents. ● Internal meetings on a daily basis in order to make sure no job has been stopped and make sure that the orders will be delivered on time and as per the purchase order and its attachments ● Handle all formalities for import and export, customs affairs, forwarders and shipment (sea, air, and land), insurance policy, banks, and payments. ● Write official and professional emails and letters both in English and Farsi ● Perform and coordinate all foreign commercial activities and affairs such as sourcing and evaluating suppliers, based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and reputation and history to make the best offer or purchase package. ● Archive and keep the records of whole orders from the negotiation stage, sourcing, sales, and shipping documents in hard and soft copies and prepare a sales database. ● Scheduled review/update on customer and supplier database. ● Follow up every single task individually to ensure all necessary actions are done in detail in order to maintain a safe, reliable, and reasonable purchase cycle ● Responsible for the supervision and execution of all issues related to procurement procedures. ● Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other possible problems. ● Be up-to-date about current regulations and monitor applicable law changes for better dealing with customs, truck, sea, and air freight, documents, and payment methods. ● Monitor shipments to ensure that goods are loaded on time. ● Check the reliability of new forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, and new sources. ● Develop relations with suppliers, negotiate with suppliers on payment methods ● Have scheduled follow-up meetings (verbal and online) with suppliers, vendors, and customers for updating the database and any new inquiries/services. ● Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine suitable suppliers. ● Monitor changes that affect the supply and demand conditions, and international trade, follow market conditions, price trends, and potential future markets. ● Attend domestic and international exhibitions and prepare effective reports considering both customers and suppliers. ● Workplace: Tehran, Saadat Abad.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Petrochemical, or Mechanical Engineering. ● Experience in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industry is an advantage. ● Fluent in English speaking and writing (formal and commercial letters/emails); other languages are advantageous. ● At least 4 years of experience in the procurement/commercial field. ● Experience in Oil, Gas, and Petrochemicals is privileged. ● Familiar with commercial and international business terms and regulations ● Leadership skills and teamwork ability and self-management and self-disciplined ● Being honest, flexible, self-motivated, punctual, accurate, self-organized, and a fast learner. ● Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and team working skills. ● Good command of computer: ICDL skills. ● Having analytical skills and problem-solving/solution-finding and a creative attitude. ● Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines required. ● Possibility of traveling domestically/internationally. ● Availability on holidays (on-call or attending at the workplace if needed) ● Ability/possibility to work overtime if needed.
