Job Description

The branding specialist is responsible for the implementation of the brand strategy, to ensure that our brand, culture, essence, and uniqueness are clearly prepared, communicated, understood, and consistent across all activities through brand engagement and promotion activities. The branding specialist will handle all the activities that are related to the third parties involved in branding projects. Work activities : ● Prepare cost estimates for persons requesting graphic design services; oversees graphic arts supply inventory and maintain department filing systems for completed artwork and archival computer files. ● Analyze and plan the framework of design according to the laid-out concept and established specifications of the project. ● Plan the load work and distribute the task within the team and subcontractors executing (action). ● Train new graphic design team members. ● Provide performance reviews, appraise performance, and resolve conflict. ● Set goals and objectives for team members. ● Define technical practices and provide training modules that support these practices. ● Communicate regularly with the head of branding to report inefficiencies and areas of concern, and identify solutions to make timely adjustments and/or improvements. ● Create high-quality presentations in PowerPoint that uphold the global corporate brand and standards. ● Responsible for creating and further developing master files. ● Create, maintain and administer the internal database for PowerPoint presentations on the intranet in close cooperation with product management and digital media. ● Operates various graphic design equipment such as a logo, catalog, letterhead, animation computer software and hardware, and lettering equipment. ● Confer with clients, writers, editors, marketing staff, and others regarding project specifications such as paper stock, graphic content, layout, and media requirements; may create composites and develop concepts depending on needs and budgetary considerations. ● Write bid specifications for jobs assigned to outside vendors; coordinate production of material with outside vendors by monitoring jobs in progress, resolving technical problems, proofing material, and ensuring deadlines are met. ● Create and design graphics for the layout of all forms of printed matter including comprehensive campaigns featuring booklets, brochures, newsletters, posters, flyers, maps, logos as well as supporting materials such as slides and computer-based presentations; use traditional and computer graphic methods of preparing layouts of camera-ready artwork; may design books as a staff member of a publishing house. ● Create and design technical drawings and illustrations. ● Design and construct visual displays and exhibits; determine materials and equipment best suited for the job.

They should be able to demonstrate their interest for the latest industry news and information. ● Branding specialists need to not only has creative ideas but also be able to execute them. Since they will work with a variety of organizational functions to achieve their goals, they must be able to stay focused and be ready to take on multiple responsibilities.
