● Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general structure.
● Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
● Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
● Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
● Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
● Maintain or examine the records of government agencies.
● Develop, maintain and analyze accounts, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
● Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.
● Collaborates with the other finance department employees to support overall department goals and objectives.
● Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
● Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
● Control all registered accounting documents by team members during the day.
● Manage team members.
● Make a friendly atmosphere with other team members in the accounting Dpt.
● Responsive to requests of other departments in the company.
● Attend and manage meetings with officials and related authorities on tax and social security issues.
Requirements
● At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field, preferably a Master's degree.
● At least 10 years of experience in related fields; at least 3 years of supervising or managerial experience.
● Strong leadership and management skills.
● Professional accounting qualification.
● Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
● Good ability in internal control and auditing.
● Good knowledge of English and computer skills.
● Ability to participate in different meetings and sessions related to accounts of the company with governors.
