To manage the accounting activities of the assigned team involved in the processing of all accounts and to ensure that a comprehensive and effective system of financial recording and control is maintained by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Role description:
● Prepare and record asset, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
● Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
● Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
● Produce payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, and providing information for auditors.
● Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
● Secure financial information by completing database backups.
● Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
● Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
● Oversee the production of regular and ad hoc financial and activity reports to meet statutory and management requirements.
● Coordinate with the external auditors to provide assistance, guidance, and informed responses to queries during the course of the regular financial and system audits.
Requirements
