About the Company :
| The Monitoring Agent of the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) is a consulting group(PWC Netherlands and Roshnan Banayeh Kavir Iran) selected by the World Bank to monitor the utilisation of the funds made available by donor countries to the Government of Afghanistan. |

About the Job :
Main responsibilities:
• Monitoring and verification of the expenditures of the Afghan government for salaries as well as for recurrent costs.
• Planning, Instructing and Supervising the international and local staff for site visits to ministries and other state organizations, in Kabul and in provinces of Afghanistan, to verify the actual use of funds.
• Preparation of and participation in site visits.
• Analysis and assessment of the expenditures.
• Preparation of regular reports and documents to be submitted to the World Bank.
• Supervision of the team of young Afghan graduates working on the expenditure documents.
• Administrative Duties: Petty cash management and cost reporting, Logistic management, Guesthouse management, General staff management (e.g. employment, evaluation, contracts, salaries). |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
• Excellent understanding of English, both in speaking as well as writing and reading.
• Good understanding of Farsi, both in speaking as well as writing and reading.
• Bachelor in Accounting.
• Proved management skills.
• 3 years of relevant experience (Knowledge of government accounting/ budgeting).
• Word/ Excel and Windows proficiency. |
