About the Job :
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job: (Short description)
To manage the operational services procured from MTN Irancell’s Managed Services / outsourcing partners for business and operations support systems i.e. eRefill / eCharge System and Over the Air System, and Trouble Ticketing System
Role Complexity:
•Must possess high-level knowledge and prior hands-on and management experience of eRefill / eCharge System and Over The Air System, and Trouble Ticketing System to monitor and evaluate the performance of outsource partners
•Direct and manage the outsourcing partners from whom MTN Irancell has procured the operational services for business and operations support systems such that they deliver the services as per service level agreements
•Integrate different outsourcing partners and play the role of a mediator to resolve conflicts among them
•Must possess thorough knowledge of telecommunication business processes to be able to provide strategic business solutions that integrate across the organization to support all business functions, i.e. Marketing, Customer Relations, Sales & Distribution, Finance, Procurement, Human Resource, and Network Group
•Work with cross-functional teams, internal and external to MTN Irancell IS department, to ensure all SLM related PPPs conform to agreed service levels and internationally recognized benchmarks
Task Complexity:
•Put in place strategy or approach documents for respective Applications across all disciplines and develop solutions/action plans to support strategy
•Create policies, processes, and procedures to manage the environment
•Participate in the selection of suitable technologies and negotiate/manage contracts with suppliers accordingly
•Prepare, negotiate, and enforced Service Level Agreements with internal customers (business units) and suppliers/vendors to ensure timely resolution of problems and issues
•Ensure that managed services partners are providing services and output in line with agreed service level agreements
•Lead and direct the outsourcing partners for the administrative and operational tasks for systems’ parameter maintenance
•Contribute in preparation and management of IS Applications’ budget and strategic operational plans
•Liaison with different IS divisions, business units, and outsourcing partners for systems’ enhancements requirements
•Ensure availability and reliability of systems through aggressive monitoring
•Ensure that outsourcing partners put into production all products, tariffs, and other enhancements and changes in line with business requirements and change management process
•Daily queries, incidents, requests and faults management |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Experience:
5 years hands-on and management experience of eCharge Systems, working for GSM / Telecommunication organization(s).
Education:
BA Degree in Computer Science
Training:
•Application development methodology
•Project management
•Joint application development
•Problem solving and Root cause analysis techniques
•Management training in terms of planning, operating, leading and controlling
Knowledge:
•In depth knowledge of Telecoms Business & Operations Support Systems
•In depth knowledge of IT and the IT technology roadmaps
•In depth knowledge of data analysis
•In depth knowledge of analytical concepts
•Awareness of billing strategies in Telecommunications – mobile, 3G, GPRS, mobile data, content based billing, etc
•Understanding of IT and Telecommunications industry and key trends
•Broad knowledge of Implementation Platforms
•Awareness of billing strategies and trends in telecommunications
•Understanding of how this area fits into the overall blueprint Architecture of IS
•Contract Management
•Service Level Management |
