About the Job :
Task Complexity:
• Identifies the required and essential items of equipment to be included in the maintenance program.
• Record manufacturer’s data from new and existing equipment.
• Prepare detailed maintenance/inspection task listing for NSS/BSS/VAS, BTS equipment, BTS sites, Tower, Transmission Air conditioning, Generator equipment.
• Specific maintenance/inspection instructions based on manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practice.
• Establish scheduled intervals for maintenance/inspection tasks;
• Reviews data and trends after maintenance has been performed to determine if items require any repairs.
• Checks current information against past history to determine if all NSS/BSS equipments have reached an economical point to replace versus repair.
• Analyses of financial data and optimization of maintenance programs on equipment based on analyses.
• Utilizing existing software, converts manually kept data to the computer for data collection; develops preventive maintenance programs for buildings and equipment in a format that can be computerized
• Maintains preventive maintenance program data on computer.
• The Maintenance Planner/Analyst (Facilities) executes the roles effecting maintenance planning for/ on behalf of Network Operations on those equipment that are maintained by Vendors such as generators, air conditioners, electrical distribution equipment, BTS sites, Towers etc. The effected roles are Process Maintenance Structure Information, Process Maintenance Plans and Revisions, Plan Maintenance and Process Work Order.
• Direct helpdesk complaints to appropriate department for resolution.
• Follow up to ensure resolution of problem
• Report resolved repairs to complainant through help desk
• Ensure appropriate parties are responsible for repair activity and cost
• Ensure inventory accuracy on system
• Liaise with fixed asset manager in finance to ensure inventory lists are accurate and updated.
• Manage Maintenance Work and Process Spares Demands. |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Education:
•An undergraduate degree or equivalent in maintenance, construction management or a related discipline.
Experience:
• At least 4 years of relevant experience utilizing a maintenance planning and control software program.
• Experience in maintenance on GSM networks inclusive of all NSS/BSS activities
