About the Job :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible to perform medical duties, occupational health duties and clinic management duties. The responsibilities include:
• Assist the doctor in provision of emergency medical care throughout of duty according to internationally accepted policies and produced.
• Assist the doctor in provision of primary health Care to Company assigned employees and officially recognized contracts, visitors and client.
• Triage of the patients before visiting the doctor.
• Ensure that all medical equipment, drugs stock and specific medical instrument correspond to requirements and emergency response.
• Maintain inventories of medicine, non-pharmaceutical consumables and equipment and reporting monthly.
• Meets legal requirement with respect to medical licence (including education), regulation and administration.
• Participation in Clinic and company HSE activities.
• Provide support to Occupational health and Hygiene activities of Health department, including initial diagnosis and management of work related illnesses and disabilities, monitoring and data collection.
• Promotes healthy life-style amongst workforce by mean of applying the department program of health education prepared by or in cooperation with doctors.
• Collection of samples for diagnostic tests, when required.
Main Interface:
• Company: work closely with all functions particularly with doctors, ambulance drivers and HSE personnel.
• External: Health and Medical service providers and contracts when required by supervisor.

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Qualification & Experience:
-Background: -Nursing degree
-Minimum 3 years of experience, from which at least 1 year in emergency unit/team.
-Skills:
• Has he professional and personal stature to in reface with patients, staff, visitors, contracts, other health professionals, as well as with health authorities, and local communities.
• Is able to communicate effectively within a multicultural setting with minimum basic knowledge of English language.
• Has sound knowledge of occupational and clinic health issues relevant to the oil industry.
• Has proven competence and experience as nurse in an industrial setting, preferably in the energy industry.
• Understands and have experience / affinity with public health issues.
• Able to use computer for daily work, with knowledge of Word and Excel as basic.
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
• Broad expertise and experience in emergency medicine, including resuscitation and organization of medical service.
• Ability to work as team player in stressful situations
Working conditions: based in Darquin – Iran with visits to other facilities if required |
