About the Job :
The job holder will work with and assist the Head of Legal with routine aspects of legal and factual data compilation and analysis, drafting legal documents and affidavits, and conveying routine legal information under his/her supervision.
Draft, negotiate and conclude written letters, memoranda, agreements and/or other documents relating to all significant commercial transactions to optimize and protect the interests of the Iran business and the wider BAT Group.
Assist with the registration and licensing of trade marks and other intellectual property rights to the Iran business and co-ordinate any infringement or other protection action to maximize the value of BAT’s brands and know-how.
He/she will often monitor and review government regulations to ensure that the corporation is aware of new requirements and it operates within the law. |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
- Bachelor of Law
- 3 to 5 years legal experience
- Fluent in both Farsi and English
- Knowledge of the principles and procedures of legal research
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Knowledge of legal contract, agreement and settlement procedures and documentation
