The RoleThe RoleMission/ Core purpose of the Job: (Short description) Network performance and measurement monitoring, all VAS nodes, including but not limited to SMS, MMS, WAPGW, IVR, VMS, RBT, OTA, MCA, Messaging GW, etc. together with network optimization rules for application. Vendors KPIs, as agreed in their Managed Services Service Level Agreements (MS SLAs) must be strictly monitored and penalties applied for non compliance. Role Complexity: 1. Ensure the seamless operation of the VAS area of the network at various levels of operation. Initiate actions to improve the quality, availability and measurement of this area. Hands-on technical involvement may be required. 2. Assimilate the performance of the VAS area in the overall network performance and analyze cross-systems impact with the various vendors present in the Irancell network. 3. An in-depth understanding of tele-traffic engineering, understanding of best of breed performance criteria. 4. Monitor the Irancell VAS Network Performance and SLA objectives 5. To report regularly and comprehensively on the progress and activities of the VAS elements, Consolidated and Vendor specific should it be required. Task Complexity: Interoperability of all VAS systems including the interfaces to CORE and IN Cross-System alarm and fault correlation survey Detailed report generation of Operations and tracking and tracing incidents |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: A Bachelors Degree or higher in Tele-traffic engineering, telecommunications or a related field Knowledge: Tele-traffic principles, VAS Nodes incl. but not limited to SMS, MMS, WAPGW, IVR, VMS, RBT, OTA, MCA, Messaging GW, etc., GSM Protocols, IP systems and protocols An understanding of the GSM Network as applicable to VAS. Self-motivated, logical thinker, problem solver. |
