The RoleThe RoleMission: To plan and manage all support activities and processes needed to ensure that MTNIrancell enjoy optimal transaction and investment opportunities and that its financial and regulatory obligation are met . Role Complexity: • Analyze economic conditions, the financial climate, and changes in corporate requirements. • Maintain procedures for all treasury management processes, bank account maintenance systems and tools for corporate cash management • Conduct research and compile data, and benchmarking for Analysts, • Collate and store media information (electronic and hard) that can help MTNIrancell develop and maintain a virile treasury department and help in cost savings. • Interfacing with various management and departments of MTNIrancell and MTN Group on behalf of Corporate Finance manager and senior manager. • Relationship management of local and foreign banks and financial institutions • Support the development and maintenance of systems projects to support and manage cash flow on a global basis, to improve cash flow and banking information • Interface with finance team to generate better performance and effective use of working capital • Oversee the distribution and control of office supplies within Treasury • Assisting the Senior Treasury Manager, Corporate finance Manager as required |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: • A Bachelor degree in a finance or accounting related discipline • A part qualification / membership in a professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Experience: • 2 years treasury and finance experience with emphasis cash management • Extensive bank reconciliation experience • Up-to-Date knowledge of admin process 5 years treasury and finance experience with emphasis on foreign exchange and cash management • Experience with interest rate swaps, debt and investment management and cash forecasting. • Experience with equity, hybrid or debt investments either at a corporation, investment bank, or accounting, law, tax, or investor relations firm preferred. |
