The Role


The Role


The person is responsible for developing sourcing strategies in the area of services and indirect materials (S&IM), profiles and selects vendors and also manages and maintains the contracts
• Reduction of total cost of ownership through:
- Fact-based negotiation with suppliers
- Leveraging of spend on regional / global level
- Specification and supplier reduction
- Challenging usage patterns
- Improving supply processes
• Reduction of supply risk
• Increasing supply flexibility
• Leveraging supplier's know-how to improve Nestlé products and processes
• Leveraging spends category knowledge of operational buyers and internal users, through cross-regional / cross-functional sourcing teams
• Development of procurement strategies based on:
- Analysis of internal purchasing needs
- Analysis of external supply market capabilities
- Assessment of regulatory constraints
- Assessment of supply risks
- Evaluations of in source/outsource options
• Negotiating and maintaining prices and longer-term purchase agreements

Requirements


Requirements


The required qualifications are:
- University Degree preferably in Business Administration

- Able to communicate in English fluently

- At least 2 years knowledge of local market (including some managing experiences)

- Good Communication Skills

- Financial understanding -- Key business drivers, budget and forecasting
