The RoleThe Role• Manage the Arya Sasol Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process, • Custodian of the plant specific SOP process, • Input the customer demand forecasts into the ERP (IFS) • Run the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) process in the ERP • Review the production proposals, plan and schedule the plants production, given the constraints of the grade cycle and the Arya Sasol customers' requirements, • Continuous monitor the planned versus the action production and timeously create effective plans to reduce the impact of operational problems on the Arya Sasol customers requirements, • Manage the plants' process raw material requirements: • Manage stock levels of the process raw materials, • Order process raw material when required, • Reserve and issue process raw material to the plants, • Ensure that process raw material are expedited • Ensure that the Arya Sasol customers' requirements are clearly understood and the Arya Sasol customers are well informed (daily) of the operational issues and impacts on the supply of polymer and that each Arya Sasol customers' requirements (production and sales) are equitably managed, • Processing Information: compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships • Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events |
