The Role


The Role


Taking responsibility for the development of new food products.
• Conducting industrial trials of new products to ensure the feasibility of the process.
• Researching and developing new formula/products and applying innovative methods to improve existing products.
• Taking an active involvement in reviewing & analyzing the performance of current/new products or processes whilst actively seeking solutions to optimize/improve these current/new products or processes.
• Arranging the testing of products to ensure that they meet quality standards
• Selecting raw materials and other ingredients from suppliers
• coordinating the projects at the laboratory.
• Interaction with other Departments such as Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Marketing, as part of the product development process.


Requirements


Requirements


• University Qualifications:
Master Degree or above in Food Science, Food Engineering or related fields. Graduated candidates from public universities have priority.
• Nature and length of previous experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in R&D management within the food industry with a good understanding of product development steps.
• Specialist knowledge:
Good knowledge of food quality systems.
Good knowledge of food project management methods.
• Soft Skills and Personality traits:
Interpersonal skills and confident in communicating with cooperators.
• Ideal Age: 28-40
• Language Fluency: Fluent in English
