The RoleThe RolePosition description: Purpose Provide specialist QA and Technical Integrity Management expertise to the Project Execution Team. Key responsibilities include: • Inventories, develop and promote best practices, lateral learning's and synergy's in management systems & controls and pursue standardised processes, procedures, systems and tools. • Assurance that detail design, procurement, equipment manufacturing, construction, installation and commissioning of the Yadavaran Project facilities and equipment, are conducted in accordance with the approved and adequate Project & Quality Management Systems, plans, procedures, specifications, codes, and standards acceptable to company and the Iranian Islamic Republic. Accountabilities: • Put in place and operate QA Management systems addressing the total Yadavaran development. • Assure implementation of the existing Project Management System that assures SIPC policies, objectives, targets and standards are met. • Support company's Project Management in ensuring the effectiveness of the management system through the development of Health Checks / Self-assessment and Audit, which will assist in identifying improvement to the system. • Ensure that adequate development and monitoring / review of the Contractor's Technical Integrity Verification Process is in place. • Provide support in management reviews of the Management System. • Provide technical QA and Integrity advice and input to other disciplines in detail design and installation engineering. • Provide assistance to the project teams to achieve full QA and Integrity compliance with Iranian Regulatory requirements within the deadlines governed by the project execution schedules • Ensure that QA and integrity management evaluation in pre-qualification of Contractors and Bid Evaluations, and QA and Integrity management system requirements in Tenders and Contracts. • Raise QA and Integrity awareness and ensure QA and Integrity considerations are addressed in detail design and all subsequent project execution activities. • Ensure that QA and Integrity document management system is in place to efficiently document commissioning and start-up of systems for 'Handover' to Operations. • Liaise with Third Party Inspection Parties during all the applicable phases of the project. • Liaise with Contractor QA and Integrity Management and advise and assist when necessary. • Review Contractors' Execution Plans / Quality Plans and manage audit of Contractor activities. • Manage the project Action Tracking system. • Manage and monitor QA and Integrity performance against targets set in the project Audit Plan. This includes capture, tracking and closeout of QA and Integrity related issues. • Provide active support & technical QA and Integrity advice to SIPC site teams, including site visits to monitor & audit Contractors QA and Integrity performance. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience and Qualifications required: • A thorough understanding of Management Systems & Technical Assurance Systems which play a significant part in achieving Project Delivery. The underlying theme is strong governance, which combines robust systems and processes with effective leadership and higher standards of behavior. • Experience in oil and gas development projects. • Ability to interface with, and influence, a wide variety of contacts, including company management, staff, and contractors • Be able to communicate effectively with contacts with different cultural backgrounds • A strong and committed team player • Fully mobile for travel within Europe, Iran, China and other countries as applicable. Key Competences required: The competence required for this position is a combination of leadership skills, project Engineering and Design mastery, and experience in construction work and operating in multicultural and diverse relationships, organising and managing the Quality functions. • Proven track record in Engineering and Design functions, capable of leading large teams. Strong background in all aspects of project execution (design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up). • Minimum 10+ years experience in project management, with a further 10+ years discipline experience in oil and gas facilities engineering. • Global mindset and perspective. Ability to lead mixed teams of professionals. High personal energy level and a proven track record in achieving stretching personal and business goals. |
