Job Description

Mission: Planning, establishment and optimization of the appropriate Network Synchronization, in line with the network topology plan and capabilities of technology. Task Complexity: • Monitor and provide advice on Clocking system and timing protocol for all network elements working in MTNIrancell network. • Support Rapid growth of synchronization method and try to implement it in MTN Irancell network in appropriate time. • Resolving of low quality of synchronization within MTN Irancell network. • Provide a best Synchronization solution for different parts of IRC network. • Identify 3rd party synchronization solution and support matching synchronization strategies in interconnection areas. • Resolve and support all network synchronization technology within MTN Irancell, like WiMAX, GSM, GPRS, Edge/+ ,3G ,LTE and corporate network. • Ensure adherence to appropriate build specification for different type of synchronization deployment in the network. • Implementation of appropriate operational procedure for all clocking method across the network. • Check and follow availability of network clock sources. • Coordinate the implementation of Network Timing Protocol for all vendor Equipments. • Balance Synchronization source requirements such as NTP, PTP, etc... and demands from multiple BSS , NSS, Core, Transmission, IN, ITS,… vendors as well as internal customers. • Help finding alternative synchronization solutions for remote sites.
