The RoleThe RoleMission/ Core purpose of the Job: • Support the Technical Operations Manager in the initial setting up the Regional department and Network with Project management of Contractors for rolling out the Network. • Perform Monitoring/Controlling the day to day activities including TX, NSS, GPRS, BSS, VAS, IP, Facilities Implementation & Support with the Technical Operations Manager providing guidance and tactical leadership to ensure the integrity of the Irancell GSM Network. Role Complexity: 1. Assist in meeting the objectives of the Regional network heads of departments as set by the Technical Operations Manager in order to meet the national and Vendor KPI's and monitor the network performance against these objectives. 2. Maintain and nurture a sound working relationship between engineer colleagues from other Regional network sections and all associated parties, both within the company and external. 3. Submit reports to the Technical Operations Manager and Senior Management as per the standing instructions. 4. Introduce and Implement quality and safety awareness in the region through ISO 9001, ISO14000 & RCMP, monitor the performance ensuring compliance. 5. Monitor the GOS & QOS and strive to meet the Network Group objectives. 6. Any additional, valid duties as given by the Technical Operations Manager from time to time. RequirementsRequirementsEducation: • At least BSc Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or Electronic. Experience: • Min 3 year telecommunication and operational experience Knowledge: • Teletrafic principles, GSM, GPRS, VAS, BSS, NSS, Protocols, IP systems and protocols |
