The Role


The Role


Serve as Legal and Compliance Head for the Local Assembly Project (LAP) in Iran with overall responsibility for Legal & Business Ethics Compliance (BE Compliance), ensuring high quality advice, providing direction on Legal & BE Compliance matters for the business and managing risks. Set objectives and deliver results that have a significant influence on the success of LAP in Iran. Contribute to long-term business strategies in LAP in Iran. Significant role in building LAP in Iran reputation within Iran and industry.

Manage and oversee all Legal Affairs across LAP, developing, implementing and continually evaluating the effectiveness of the IO Legal strategies, processes and procedures
Independently review, interpret, evaluate and analyze laws and regulations relevant to the LAP, ensure monitoring of relevant legislation changes
Responsible for contractual set-up and review in LAP Iran,
Legal support to corporate governance in LAP Iran, registration activities and legal databases maintenance
Provide full-scale, fast, effective, high quality and business oriented day to day Legal and Compliance support to the LAP management team and program members,
Interact with Iranian public authorities (including Tax, Trade Registry, Customs, Ministries) on legal issues,
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in co-operation with the LAP team, International Operations Legal, Compliance, Quality Vice-President, BANE Legal Affairs & Compliance Director, Novo Nordisk A/S and/ Novo Nordisk Pars
In charge of reviewing tenders documents/contracts and support the negotiations for construction and procurement agreements,
Support the P&O with employment law matters,
Handle dispute resolution respecting the LAP
Creating and reviewing drafts and assisting in the negotiation of various contracts and agreements for the LAP
Full responsible as the point-of-contact for relevant legal authorities (government audits or raids by public prosecutors) and briefing the stakeholders regarding potential responses and mitigating strategies,
Ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk principles and internal legal rules.

- Related education degree minimum Bachelor
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- English Fluent
- Corporate and industrial in related industries is a plus
- Familiar with construction law and contracts
- Willing to attend abroad mission
