The RoleThe RoleObjective of the role: • To plan, implement and manage industrial / heavy lift projects within budget to customer requirements List of Responsibilities: • Effectively manage all aspects of the project from : • Selling • Presenting solutions / consulting • Costing the project ** you will be asked to provide references of previous projects you completed ** Reporting to: Managing Director of company recruiting Subordinates: Relevant operational staff Other interactions: • Interactions with regional project center situated in Dubai • Interactions with airlines and shipping lines • Interactions with international business councils • Interactions with suppliers of heavy lift / crane equipment Number of staff to be recruited: One Job Duration: Permanent Desired start date: April 2010 Length of probation period: Three months Working hours: Sunday to Thursday (Sunday to Wednesday 08:30 -- 17:00, Thursday 08:30 -- 15:30), Saturday work if required Travel requirements: Yes, depending on requirements of project |
RequirementsRequirementsUniversity Qualifications: • Project Management related Other certifications: • Industry related qualifications (ITCA) Nature and length of previous experience: • Minimum of five years experience in a freight forwarding / logistics organisation performing the function of project manager Specialist knowledge: • Knowledge of air freight • Knowledge of ocean freight • Knowledge of overland transport • Knowledge of project infrastructure available within Iran (oil and gas) Soft skills and personality: • Work well under pressure • Must have good reporting skills • Must have good analytical skills • Proficient in English and Farsi • Good 'team player' being able to have good relationships with all departments Age range: 26 -- 40 Nationality: • Iranian • Would consider immigrant depending on language proficiency Language Fluency • Farsi and English (read, write, speak) Current location: Tehran |
