The RoleThe Role• Issuing the bills of lading, dispatching the freight & cargo manifest of containers that load on vessel to destination, • Vendor management & shipment coordination in close collaboration with shipment origin and destination branch offices, • Interacting with clients on a daily basis to report on the status of orders or shipments and resolve exception, • Being responsible of freight shipments to external clients and to our clients' own business units, • Managing and maintaining business relations with internal freight forwarding and logistics service providers, • Arranging for pick up and movement of freight to gateways, liaising with cargo suppliers and recipients to ensure accurate and timely cargo deliveries, managing records, monitoring and tracking all cargo transiting from pick up to final delivery points, and resolving inquires, • Preparing and publishing all shipment advisories, movement updates and status reports to external and internal clients, aggressively track and monitor carrier and vendor service compliance and performance levels, • Responsible for ensuring legal compliance and providing import administration and control within government rules and regulations, including appropriate licensing for shipments, • Interfacing with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment, • Issuing service invoices to clients at the end of each month; receiving and checking sub-contractor's invoices & SAP input, • Handling shipment booking, determining most cost effective routings, ensuring billing of shipments are handled in a timely and accurate manner once confirmed on, • Accurately performing all accounting functions related to the billing, distribution and collection of funds for the client's cargo, • Preparing price quotations on inbound international freight, • Initiating and maintaining customer master profiles in order to have correct information on hand in order to offer consistent service, |
RequirementsRequirements• University degree in related fields • Excellent command of both written & spoken Farsi & English • Minimum 3 -- 5 years of related experience • Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms, standards and regulations • Customer-oriented; passion for excellence in customer service • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines • Self-motivated; strong communication and interpersonal skills • No obligation of military service for male candidates |
