The RoleThe Role1. Managing UXO/Demining Database including regular source and reporting from the Demining Contractor. 2. Preparation of up to date reports and outputs from the database, including design and implementation of reports for specific purposes. 3. Draft, review, revise and correct Auto-cad files used to overlay GIS information. 4. Draft, review, revise and correct GIS layers. 5. Produce Maps and other visual outputs to support other SIPC departments. 6. Interacts with Contractor personnel as requested or required. Maintain daily contact with Contractor to ensure database is updated on a daily basis. 7. Exercises normal supervisory responsibilities with respect to subordinates, including those associated with performance appraisal, salary recommendations, delegation of authority, selection, disciplinary actions, and definition of area of responsibility. |
RequirementsRequirements1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field or accepted technical background and experience by the Company. Note: Work experience can be substituted for education above high school at 2 years directly applicable experience for 1 year of schooling. 2. Ability to operate Auto-cad, ArcGIS, MS Office suites in English 3. Read and write English , Fluent in English and Farsi 4. Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role. 5. Previous experience or exposure to GIS systems. |
