The RoleThe RoleMission/ Core purpose of the Job: To implement new sites according to the BTS specification and ensuring the BTS installation, equipment, upgrades is of a high standard as well as the integrity and optimum performance of the radio network, to meet customer demand reflecting Irancell brand values in all areas of operation. Key Tasks: 1) Oversee new site build and upgrades in his allocated area Ensure that sites get built according to the laid down specifications. Ensure accurate site surveys and verification of all site plans and quotes. Ensure that QA standards are met according to laid down specifications. Ensure subcontractors perform according to laid down specifications. Ensure that all special conditions and landowner requirement are adhered to. 2) Oversee BTS implementation/upgrades and commissioning Ensure that Radio Equipment is installed and commissioned to IRANCELL's standard as agreed upon. Ensure sites implemented into the network meets required criteria .(Technical Acceptance) Ensure that BTS subcontractor performs according to laid down specifications. Ensure that final acceptance certificate is signed on successful commissioning of radio equipment. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: BSC Electrical or equivalent Drivers licence Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in the Radio and Transmission field. (GSM experience preferred.) Experienced in managing civil, electrical, RF, Telecoms and sub-contractors. Must not have a fear of heights. Prepared to work long hours and travel long distances. Transmission experience. ( 2M/bit and equipment) Knowledge: A sound knowledge of Transmission or Microwave and RF systems. A good knowledge of 2 Mb transmission architecture. Computer literate with practical experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite using the Windows OS. Civil knowledge as an advantage. |
